Gift Ideas - part 2

More gift ideas, this time for the teachers. They do an amazing job and I think it's nice to recognize that at the end of the year. Here I have made a matching gift set and gift bag.

It includes, an easel calendar with mini post it notes......
....a magnetic calendar for the fridge......
...and a post it note book and mini pen.
To finish it off, I will add a hand made card by my daughter and Coffee,
I know my daughters teacher loves coffee!

Happy crafting,

Amanda :)

Gift Ideas - part 1

It's the time of year for giving. So I thought I would share a few gift ideas with you over the next few weeks.

This one was not for Christmas but for a friends birthday a few weeks ago. She loves owls, so that was easy, using the owl punch I created a cute Owl card.
I was then going to make a matching gift bag, but thought why not use the card? So here's what I did.......
Simple and quick. And now the cute card is shown off a little more.
Simply add a card bag to the front of the gift bag, and slide the card in.
And there you have it a gift bag and card in one.

Happy crafting,

Amanda :)

JAI - Just Add Mini Album

Today I'm joining in with a challenge at JAI Their challenge is to Just Add - Mini Scrap Album. Here is a mini album I did all about me - I titled it - I AM. How often do we scrap about ourselves? Not enough! It's a flip album and as it's title suggests, continues to flip open to reveal more pages.

Here is the cover.

Here is the first two pages opened.
The blank page is where I intend to add some personal details about me.

Here it is opened some more, this blank page is still waiting on a photo...must get back to that!

And some more......there are some more pages -
titled Daughter, Crafter, Zoo Keeper...
I love that this simply shows just about everything
there is to know about me, all in one place!
It was a "Challenge" in it's self, it showed me just how much I am
behind the camera and that I need to be more in front of it!

Thanks for stopping by, till next time - happy crafting

Oh My.........

Oh my, I've been MIA the past few months and so much has happened!

Firstly apologies to those that have stopped by recently to find I've been MIA and secondly, please let me fill you in on the past few months excitements........

September 1st gave us our BRAND NEW Annual Catalogue - filled with inspiration - it's so lovely!

September 1st also gave us our NEW Holiday Catalogue - loaded with lovely Christmas ideas!
You'll find links to both catalogues on the right, but if you would rather hard copies please contact myself and we can arrange to get one in your hot little hands.

October has been rather busy with classes making the Christmas Advent Calendars - everyone made wonderful unique creations - love them all.

My daughters school also held a Spring Fair last weekend, so I had been busy preparing for my stall, it was a wonderful day - Hi to all those that stopped in to my stall. We raised much needed funds to update our wonderful little school. Stampin' Up! played a part in this also, donating products to raffle on the day, there were some very happy winners!

November brings us closer to Christmas, so I'll be holding Christmas Card classes click here for more info, would love to have you join us.

If you've made it this far into my post - thank you - and stay tuned I'll have some 'creative' posts coming regularly over the next month, starting tomorrow!

Happy crafting,

Amanda

You may have found me from Christine Blain's blog or you can start here, either way please enjoy all the lovely creations we have for you.

DSP is so much more than scrapbooking and cards.........Here I have used
it to cover some notebooks and pencil tubes for my monthly market stall.
Simple gift idea for the kiddies.

Here I have used it on this train.

and this is a favourite of mine. I have made 5 of these as gifts
and this was a custom order I did earlier in the year.

Designer Series Paper can be used for loads of things, and if you don't like one side
of the paper, simply turn it over to find something different.

Don't forget that May is Paper Party Month! So for any 3 packs of DSP you purchase you can select 1 FREE pack! Or if you sign up as a demonstrator this month, you can also receive 1 FREE pack each month from June to Dec - 7 FREE packs, now that's a lot of paper! - Info can be found HERE or you can contact me anytime and I'll be happy to answer an questions.

Art with Heart team - Blog Hop

JOIN THE PAPER PARTY

Today I am part of an Art with Heart Stampin Up! Team blog hop, where some of the girls in the team have got together to showcase some of our lovely Designer Series Paper Packs. During May if you purchase 3 packs of DSP you will receive a fourth pack FREE. Find out more HERE.

You may have landed here from the talented Ros Davidson or you may be starting here, either way sit back and enjoy the many different creations along the blog hop.

Even Bad photo's make great scrap pages
Even though the second pic is not great, it still tells the story, can you see the girls smiles?
So don't be scared to use "not so perfect" photo's in your scrap pages.
What's a page about cooking without the Domestic Goddess DSP (#122355) I have only just purchased this DSP and this is the first time I have used it. I just love the colours in it and am wondering how I went so long without this paper?!? I have also teamed it up with some First Edition Specialty DSP (#121878) now this paper is a different story. I have had this paper since it first came out and have struggled to use it, that is until recently, I now seem to be adding it to just about everything.

Here is a close up of the swirls made from the Swirls Scribbles Sizzlit Bigshot Die (#113441) I find this is so versatile and can be added to just about anything and at just $9.95 it's a great buy.

We have a great team of crafters right throughout Australia who communicate and share online and in person at stamping days. We would love to have new members join our team. From today, it's only $169 to become a demonstrator and you can choose any current products that you like to make up your starter kit to the value of $235! Plus you will also receive a business pack to the value of $80. Plus if you join during May you will also receive a FREE pack of DSP every month until the end of the year! That's 6 packs of DSP FREE totaling $113.70 YES - FREE. If you wish to find out more or join my team you can contact me HERE anytime and I would be happy to answer any questions you have.

I hope I have inspired you to use those not so perfect photo's to create your next page. To continue to hop will take you to the very talented Kathryn Manglesdorf creations.

Smiles

Thought I would share another scrap page with you. I have used the lovely soft coloured papers from the Flirtatious Specialty range with coordinating Fabric - can you spot the fabric? This is the first time I have used fabric on a page and I just love it! So you can expect to see more.....
I hope I've inspired someone, somewhere to add some fabric to their next page.....

I love to scrap book

Here is a page I did in our Dec 2010 scrap booking class. Using the lovely designer series paper (DSP) from the current mini catalogue, called Spice Cake.
The catalogues are so much more than just a 'product guide' they are great for ideas and inspiration. This page was inspired from page 10 of the mini catalogue.

What do you think? I love your feedback.

Amanda
